DESCRIPTION: Small Arms - Wesson & Harrington of Worcester, Mass, No.3 Revolver, manufactured approximately 1874, .32 caliber, exposed trigger, steel frame with dark brown finish, cylinder stamped with matching serial number, original bird's head grips, blued 2.5 inch octagonal barrel with nickel sight blade, top stamped "Wesson & Harrington, Worcester, Mass, Pat Feb 7 Jun 17' 71," all matching serial numbers including the grips and cylinder, s#5518. A fabulous piece for the collector of Harrington & Richardson who wants a piece from the predecessor firm.
CONDITION: Good action and timing; excellent overall cosmetic condition, good bore with strong rifling, deep brown finish to barrel with wear at high edges, several small dings on frame and barrel as well as scattered areas of oxide, pitting and finish loss; grip strap with several light dings; grips with numerous small dings.
